thankful...

...for people to love, for those who care for me, for friends who are like family, for family who are my friends, for food to put on my table, for warm beds to tuck my kids into, for funds in our bank account, for the Word of God in our home and hearts, for the ability to communicate around the world, for awareness of others needs and the means to help, for a church family who constantly encourages us and points us to God. 
Our 9 year old son said yesterday, "I realized that Thanksgiving isn't about what's on our plates!"
