"Look, I don't want to wax philosophic, but I will say that if you're alive you've got to flap your arms and legs, you've got to jump around a lot, for life is the very opposite of death, and therefore you must at very least think noisy and colorfully, or you're not alive." Mel Brooks

St-st-st-stuttering...
I've noticed for a little while already that Sawyer has been stuttering when he talks but this weekend it seems to be really intense. I know that there are others in my family that struggle with this but I have no experience with it myself. I want to help him, it seems like his little brain is just going so fast and the words can't come out quick enough. Anyone have any resources for helping a 2 year old that struggles with stuttering?

It is pretty common for his age, I would just keep an eye on it, unless it is super frustrating to him. (this is the advice I remember reading when Noah was little because we were concerned that the kids would get Keith's stutter...)
From an adult perspective, you may want to ask Keith - he has struggled with stuttering his whole life.
A few of our kids did that too, for quite awhile - it was exactly like you described - their brain going to fast for their mouths to keep up. Eventually the mouth caught up and oy!
So glad to see that you are blogging again- I've missed you!
My oldest stuttered for a long time too, and he still does if he is really tired but it is much better. And...he NEVER stops taling now that he is 4! Hope you can find some strategies or that he outgrows it.
